Reviewing the YETI Panga 28 Waterproof Backpack. This is a super high quality bag (just like everything from YETI) As a 28L bag it's pretty good sized, more than you probably need for a day trip unless you're carrying food and drinks for multiple people. I mainly see this as a gear bag for things like cameras, drones, and other items sensitive to water that. you need to take out to the field. O...

I dislike the punch the most on this multi tool. I mean I used pen caps or just a pen which means u could easily use the needle nose end of the pliers. I would have liked to see a window punch on this multi and a small pry bar like on the 300m and it would be solid.

Well what’s a bit encouraging is it’s an easily replaced part. Also I do understand torque, however these seem like low values numerically as far as effort put in. I probably just need to do more work with a torque wrench to see what I’m actually generating.

Years ago, 1980s, I had emergency bags packed during the Cold War. Eventually this wore off, but in the last four years for a myriad of reasons I’m renewing my SHTF survival bags! Bro says: “you might laugh about keeping a mask in here”…Bro… great ideas here. I did purchase some cellular phone chargers that are solar based. There are some good solar things you can get to now including generators.

Waaaay too expensive. $80 dollars for a lunch box is extreme and you then must purchase an ice pack to keep everything cool which takes up space in an already small box. Yeti is banking on their name to get people to buy this but there are other better options far less expensive.

A difficult choice between the Leatherman Wave and the Leatherman Arc. The Arc is easier to open and access the tools. The best add on is a sight adjuster bit extender. This has a magnetic bit holder that works absolutely fine with standard 1/4” hex bits and the Leatherman bits. The Arc blade is less aggressive looking compared to the Wave, so a bit more friendly when used in public. The Arc is worth the extra expense in my opinion, but the Wave is a good second option that won’t let you down.

Biggest design flaws of these coolers is no icepak storage in the lid, look how thick the lid on both coolers are, could easily be a spot to store an icepak in, up there.c old air drops not raises, cooling is more effective when you can do both. but just putting an ice pack on the top without a dedicated spot is meh.

I wish they’d fix that! I use these as everyday carry lights so haven’t had too many issues with metal filings. Out in my shop I use a wall mounted stream light for that reason, I do a fair amount of grinding & stuff out there so do like anything with magnets out there.
